How blessed I was to be in the right place at the right time!
Saturday, August 12, from 3:15-4:00 AM,
I saw this aurora from Summit Lake State Park in Henry County while watching for Perseids. It appeared roughly 90 degrees wide and at times reached up to the zenith.
Shot on a Minolta Maxxum 600 si, 28 mm lens at F/4, Kodak 200 film for a 30-second exposure.
